[Gmail] Google anti SPAM Messaging Problem

---Berikut cuplikan penting di milis GMAILuser pada googlegroups, untuk di-share. Sayang belum sempat translate. Dari cara melaporkan spam sampai dengan tips aman menghindari SPAM.---

Contacting Gmail employees directly is virtually impossible.

The following may improve your chances, but carry no guarantee:

- There is a "problem with a message" reporting form here: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=gtag_headers&group=hijack_spam
- If these messges are coming from a gmail account, there is an abuse form that you can use to report it here: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=abuse
- Postings to the Gmail help forum do sometimes get answered by a Google Employee, (& questions may be flagged by a 'top contributor' for the attention of a Google employee), so persevere, & provide all the information that is asked for, Operating system, software etc, & the message headers. (How to display headers)

Hints:
» The more detailed you are, the more chance that someome will be able to help you. Keep marking the offending messages as Spam, by selecting them and using the "Report Spam" button. Your spam filter will learn to improve.
» Don't use any unsubscribe links on SPAM, because it will only confirm your address to the spammers and may take you somewhere you didn't want to go.
» Reporting spam outside the US The spam could be down to you, someone you know, or a computer infection.
» Have you ever subscribed to anything; entered your Gmail details in a webform; registered with any sites or forums; joined any groups through social networking recently, that might be responsible? Some Facebook pages demand that users submit their whole addressbook when they join, and this has been abused by some - Easy method of address harvesting.
» Best not to visit any of the sites the e-mails are trying to direct you to; but you could search the web with the name of the site (or any suspects) and spam and/or phishing & see if you get any results...I'd recommend you do a thorough scan of your computer for spyware, malware etc.

Anti Virus Hints : Your standard antivirus may not turn up everything. There is excellent advice at a free help site - majorgeeks, also free tools and resources, & free personal help through their forums if you need it.
